Duska is a story, rich in imagination, about Bob (Gène Bervoets), a man whose best years are behind him. He is addicted to film, has visited various film festivals as a film critic and is now working on his own script. His muse and inspiration is a beautiful, young, and unattainable cashier (Sylvia Hoeks) from the movie theater across the street. When Bobs desire for the girl finally transcends and she actually ends up in his house, a certain Duska (Sergei Makovetsky) suddenly appears on his doorstep. The timing couldnt have been worse. Bob had met this extremely friendly, mysterious man once at a Russian film festival. He had given him his business card in an overconfident mood and invited him to drop by if he was ever in the area, something he should never have done. The enigmatic Duska is not planning to leave any time soon. What follows is an original tragicomedy full of strange twists.
