I use footage that I have and the things that remind me of our dear friend to make this tribute video. I only knew Rob for about a year, who I met through Nelson Ocampo, one of my best friends and training partner. Rob had cornered Nelson almost all of his fights, including the one featured in this video. He had supplied me with my walk out music for my bantamweight Title victory, here in Sac, where he walked out with me as well as cornering Nelson. I wish to have more footage of Rob, so that I can depict a video which covers his entire life and not just the connection I had with him. But in this video here, the way he touched me, is expressed in MMA warming up, walking out and competing along with various clips from some of the people who hung out with him and enjoyed the music that influenced us all,

This is my second fight after returning from Japan. I had a descent ground game, but I was training kyokushin with Kiet Se and I was feeling it, so I executed it like so. Watch with the volume all the way up so you can hear the announcer as he roots against me and talks shit only to have his words met simultaneously with the exact opposing outcome. You'll see, this one is truly a classic.
