Well I'm quite a piece of eye candy at 6-foot-2 with reddish-brownish hair and blue eyes. I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and though I've moved around the suburbs a little I've basically stayed in the same general area. I'm very smart but a horrible student. Fortunately, I test well and was able to get into Georgia State, which admittedly is not that great of a university, despite pretty poor grades.
I'm majoring in journalism and I plan on being a sports writer, as this seems the only logical decision for me. My best skill is writing, and my favorite hobby or form of entertainment is professional sports. I used to want to be a beat writer for the Miami Dolphins, but recently I've come to a few realizations. First, that as a huge fan my ability to be objective would be brought into question it ever became known. And also, that if I were to cover the team I love I would not be able to continue being an open fan. Sad or not, watching my favorite sports teams brings me great happiness, even if they aren't always doing well.
My main interests include football and baseball, video games, and writing. I like good movies, good television and good music. I like chick flicks.
I was raised on stories from the Bible by my very Christian grandmother (now deceased), and I bought into it during my childhood. Yet as I grew older I began to think more on my own and I have come to very different conclusions. I would describe my ideological views as "agnostic with a hint of atheism." That is to say, I am not an atheist because I would never say with certainty that there is no god. I personally find that no different than saying with certainty that there is one. However, while I do accept that I can never know for sure in this lifetime, it seems very likely to me that any religion made up by man has it right, simply because they are only a handful of an infinite number of possibilities. One thing I am sure of is that if there is a god, I won't be punished for not believing.
I think my best trait is my sense of humor, though if it's one thing I've learned it's that I'm not for everyone. I say offensive or "politically incorrect" thing all the time, because I think humor is the most important thing and I like to find it in every situation. I often joke about race and other taboo subjects, but I am not the least bit racist. I am never offended, as I am a firm believer that if you're ever offended it's your own fault for letting it happen.
Although I am not gay, I quite often talk about how male celebrities are hot because I'm secure with my masculinity. Girls can tell other girls are hot, and I can tell other guys are hot. It doesn't necessarily mean I like cock. Then again, I'll do anything for a price.
I am not political, but I pride myself on being logical and as a result I do have a strong opinion on certain issues. Gay marriage? Without question. Abortion? I don't have a vagina, so it's not my decision. I am entirely against racism or any kind of discrimination, yet I am equally against hate crime laws.
I don't have many true friends, though this does not bother me. In fact, I could probably count those I consider true friends on one hand, simply because I consider most people acquaintances. To me, the true friends are the ones that really care about me and my life, that go out of their way to talk to me, that I can rely on. The acquaintances I have are the people that I talk to anywhere from every once in a while to quite often, but that I never really have deep conversations with. Really, I doubt most of them would talk to me much, if at all, if I were not to go out of my way to talk to them. Of course I don't mind this.
I seem to have a girlfriend once every year or two, but none of them have lasted. I joke about sex a lot, but really that stuff is totally unimportant when looking for a relationship. I really don't want to date a bunch of people, but rather just find that one person who feels the same way I do about them, who I can be with the rest of my life.
If you think you might be that special someone, then you'll also be interested to know that I enjoy romantic dinners by candlelight, long walks on the beach and crossword puzzles in bed! *giggles*
I just realized that most of these little paragraphs began with "I". As do three of the four sentences in this paragraph. I feel like such an egotistical prick. I apologize.
