I know there is no "best guitar player ever" but Clapton is it for me. Old enough to have seen Hendrix 6 times, Clapton 4 including with Cream and Blind Faith, , 4 times I think, there were drugs involved, saw Duane Allman several times. Stevie Ray many times, first time in a bar with no stage for a dollar.. They're all brilliant , all different. We're just lucky to have had them. Peace.
