Cheerydavie, Rebecca Hale here, Lesley Hale's daughter.
You may already know, cos news spread quite fast around the folk circuit but I'm very sorry to tell you that Mum died last Thursday night at Marie Curie Hospice in Edinburgh. She had metastatic colon cancer which she was diagnosed with last November. I was with her. I'm trying to get funeral arrangements together asap (amongst loads of other things), including hopefully a wee tribute concert do for her. I intend to tell all her friends and folkies the moment things are organised.
