The International Staff website provides useful information for people considering moving to the UK, in addition to invaluable support for academics who have already moved to the UK from abroad and need help adjusting to life in the UK and to UK Higher Education.

Currently, 34 Higher Education institutions subscribe to the International Staff website, as a means for supporting their international staff and research postgraduates.

www.internationalstaff.ac.uk was launched in November 2007 as an outcome of a National Teaching Fellowship awarded to Christopher Butcher of the Staff and Departmental Development Unit at the University of Leeds, in 2005. The site was designed and developed by Project Officer Heather Timm.
