I'm glad he did this. It bothers me, though, that this is being framed as some kind of gracious favor he did for women, with the implication that they should ignore other specifically anti-woman stances he's publicly taken. Protective orders should protect, and it's good that he fixed that, but that's his job. That's what he owes his constituents. In 2014, he shouldn't be expecting a cookie for noticing something that disproportionately affects half his constituents and dealing with it.
