A practical and thought-provoking guide to diagnosis will be provided for each of three extremely important topics within DSM-IV-TR: anxiety. The session will provide 45 minutes of diagnostic criteria, case-based examples, and clinical insights useful to frontline mental health workers. Tom Minogue, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist in a 300-member group practice, as well as a clinical assistant professor on the medical school faculty at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to his residency in psychiatry, he was a rural family practitioner, surgeon, and ER doctor.
