R.I.P MICHAEL JACKSON. I WILL ALWAYS LOOK UP TO YOU AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED. YOU ARE THE KING AND WILL ALWAYS BE!!!

Celestte was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She derived from a Caribbean, Irish and Scottish background. Her mother being from Trinidad and Tobago and father from Barbados.

Celestte learned at an early age that music was her passion. Growing up in church, she began singing at the age of three. "My mom told me, I drew attention everywhere I went because I was always singing." says Celestte. "Growing up around my dad, he played music all the time and I loved it."

She wrote her first song at age eleven. At age fifteen Celestte decided that she wanted to pursue music as a career. She started a group called Eturnatee with another female singer and a female rapper. Celestte's father stepped in and decided to manage the group. The girls were signed to Mac Speed Entertainment/Aigne Records, an independent record label.

Numerous problems arised amongst the members of the group as well as the label causing Celestte to leave the group and the label behind. She then decided to continue pursuing music, now as an solo artist.

Celestte attended Erasmus High School for Humanities and Performing Arts. She graduated and attended Kingsborough Community College where she became a member of the National Leadership and Success Society, Sigma Alpha Pi. Celestte worked as an intern at WBAI 99.5 FM radio station. She worked with producer/engineer Dred Scott Keyes and the executive producer Kamau Khalfani of "Under The Learning Tree."

Celestte is also a talented writer and a member of ASCAP. She writes everything from her own songs to novels and plays. She is currently working on her novel entitled "Life, And It's Wicked Ways." This well rounded artist is also an actress and model . She is currently starring in an independent film called "The Empty Hands ll." "I love everything about show business, there is nothing else I'd rather do." says Celestte.

Celestte who is now twenty years old, struggled from time to time in pursuit of making her dream a reality. "My mom is my inspiration. She is a wonderful person and a hard worker. There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how wonderful she is." says Celestte. With the love and support from her mother, Celestte was able to make it through the diffcult times. However, her experiences have only made her stronger and wiser. "I've been burned so many times by those I've trusted. It's been hard to be able to move foward, but somehow I have." says Celestte.

Celestte's new smash single, "I'm Poppin'." was produced and recorded at The Cutting Room. "I recorded this song because I think it's fierce and edgy. I want other young people to know that it's ok to feel confident in who you are." says Celestte. "Everyone is poppin' in their own way." Celestte worked hard and invested a lot into her new single. "I had a lot of fun recording 'I'm Poppin'." I wanted to make it so that people could party and really connect with the song." says Celestte. Her love for music has and will continue to blossom. With her combination of R&B and Rap, Celestte intends to bring a new sound to the music industry. Along with her bold, sexy and not to mention fierce style. Celestte is the new sensation we've all been waiting for.

Ma I think as far as the R&B part of you needs work. More vocal lessons if any. The rap part of you need to be more on point in what you are trying to say. What I mean is that, you want everybody to know that you are "poppin'", then you need to express what makes you poppin'. Also, better lyrics for your songs would be great. I'm a writer/producer/rapper/whatever I can do to help. I have songs that maybe I could give to you to sing or rap. Or even make up something from scratch and still keep your hip-hop/r&b jump off. Oh and I'm friends with Antoine so if anything he could hook it up. Holla!!
