Catskill Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c) non-profit located in Saugerties, NY. Our 75 acre farm is home to horses and farm animals rescued from abuse and neglect. We have educational programs to raise awareness of animal abuse and the institutionalized cruelty of factory farming.

Catskill Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit haven for abused and abandoned horses and farm animals.

The mission of Catskill Animal Sanctuary is to:
+ Provide a safe haven for abused, abandoned, and neglected horses and farm animals

+ To raise awareness of the treatment of these animals and its impact on all of us and our environment.

+ To serve as an educational resource to schools, youth organizations, and other community organizations by providing innovative on-site and school-based programming

Hopefully, one of them will finally stop eating the last of the meat he eats...chicken. He said tonight that he is almost there. Thank you so much for writing one of the BEST books I've ever read and doing so much for these precious creatures. Having grown up on a farm myself (and no, we did NOT eat our "family"!), I know from personal experience that you are NOT experiencing anthropomorphism! You simply recognize that they feel much if not ALL that we do and that each of these wonderful animals has a personality as unique as each individual is. Keep up the good work! Lovely videos!
