Mercedes-Benz Museum

German vehicle manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has been producing automobiles for more than 120 years now. From the first petroleum-powered car that was an original creation of founder Karl Benz in 1886 to numerous car models rolled out in the market, the company has established its self as one of the leading and currently the oldest existing automotive brand today.

Needless to say, Mercedes-Benz is an interesting brand with an equally noteworthy history. To highlight the company's-and the automobile industry's achievements for the past years, the Mercedes-Benz Museum was put up and opened in 2006. Aside from the various models of cars exhibited, which-reach more than 160, the building that houses the museum is an attraction in its own right.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum building in Stuttgart, Germany is also home to international headquarters of Daimler AG-(parent company, formerly DaimlerChrysler AG). The structure features a double helix interior, which-was designed by Dutch architectural practice UNStudio (UN stands for United Network in reference to-collaboration of various architects worldwide). The cloverleaf concept uses three overlapping-circles. At the center is a triangular atrium.
Everyone is welcome to behold and be mesmerized by the history and-evolution of the motor engine, as presented by Mercedes-Benz. The museum intends to make every tour educational aside from amusing. Free audio tours are-facilitated in various languages. Hundreds of thousands of visitors come annually to explore the-wonders of the Mercedes-Benz Museum.
