The Capital Barbell Club is committed to furthering the sport of Olympic style weightlifting in the Washington D.C. metro area. Our purpose is to provide a location, equipment and environment where the sport can be safely and properly learned, developed and practiced by individuals of varying skill and strength. Our goal is to contribute passionate, competent, registered members to the global community of Olympic style weightlifters.
