Weapon-toting kids targeting local deer herds could soon be roaming our neighborhoodsunless you step up to help stop it.
Act now to oppose the countys antlerless hunt plan!
Placer Countys Fish & Game Commission is considering a special youth hunt targeting antlerless deer---specifically does and fawns---in Loomis, Granite Bay and surrounding areas.
Besides killing, maiming and wounding our local wildlife, such a hunt will put people, pets and livestock at risk. We need your help ASAP to stop this:

BACKGROUND INFORMATION Welcome to the Ban the Bogus Deer Hunt website. We are concerned residents, animal advocates, and even hunters living in rural residential Placer County who wont be hoodwinked by state and local government proposals for special deer hunts in Loomis and Granite Bay—an idea spawned by Supervisor Kirk Uhler. In November 2008 the Placer County Fish & Game (PC F&G) talked about a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors for children ages 12-17 killing 20 does with bow and arrow under the heading of a special or extra hunt (over and above the regular seasonal deer hunts that currently take place). The provisions of this type of hunt dont require the children have a hunting license. The only requirement is they be chaperoned by someone over the age of 18, but the chaperone doesnt need a hunting license either! On May 27, 2009 the PC F&G agenda contained an item under NEW BUSINESS that said: Discussion on recommendation to the Palcer County Board of Supervisors supporting a special deer hunt in Granite Bay/Loomis area. During the discussion, Supervisor Kirk Uhlers own commissioner explained that he (Uhler) had received a few phone calls on the issue. At the June 24th, 2009 Fish & Game Commission meeting, Craig Stowers from the State Department of Fish & Game gave a presentation on our deer herds, which he said are in a general state of population decline. He stated that killing 20 does would not have any effect on deer population, and that the only purpose he could see for the hunt was to provide hunting opportunities. Watch the video.. At the June 3rd and July 1st Granite Bay MAC meetings, Supervisor Uhler told the assembly that he contacted Placer County Animal Control and Fish & Game because of the number of deer and vehicle strikes in the area. We have not been able to determine what research, if any, was conducted to determine if there even was a problem with deer in our area. Nor have we seen any attempt to identify alternative measures to killing these animals, i.e., educate the public not to feed deer (its illegal), plant deer-resistant landscaping, enforce speed limits on Auburn Folsom Road, install more deer crossing signs, trimming roadside vegetation to limit cover, etc. Your voice is needed to let your elected officials know that we dont want or even need a special hunt, especially one comprised of children running around our neighborhoods with bows OR guns. Deer, bullets, and arrows arent impressed by property boundaries, so we will all be affected by this ridiculous idea. Take Action and together we can Ban The Bogus Deer Hunt.
3) ATTEND the upcoming F&G Commission meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 7 p.m., Planning Commission Hearing Room, 3091 Center Drive, Auburn, and speak out against this hunt and/or support others. Bring signs.

Casualmente, mientras estaba revisando el correo antiguo, para moverlos (entre ellos algunos tuyos) a unas carpetas que tengo, he recibido el vídeo que me has enviado. De lo que puedo recordar, Rammstein (he tenido que mirar el nombre para escribirlo correctamente) es de los pocos grupos alemanes sino el único, del que he oído y visto algún vídeo.
