This is going to be the place where I update everyone on the progress of the next season of WTF Chuck, and rant about things that are pissing me off about the process.

The script has been done for about a month now and last weekend Qurn and I recorded the bulk of the lines. The scope of the project has expanded to include 2 major characters and I'm happy to have Qurn carrying some of the weight. I refuse to "Voice Act" this season, and will just be handling Chuck's lines. The "funny" will be brought by Qurn as Denny from the GamerLife episode from last season, Sgoast has given me gold for just about every male character. Lady roles will hopefully be handled by an aspiring actress that I sold a cellphone to, I haven't gotten anything from her yet but I'm optimistic that she is reliable and awesome.

The current plan is for "Cry for help" to be 10-15 minutes long with 2 Episodes wrapped in a story. So there would be the episodes released separately and a full version. There is a lot of setup in what I'm working on, but it moves really fast so hopefully no one will get too bored.

The plan is to have the backgrounds be hand drawn (crappily by me) so the animation on top of it stands out more. We'll see how it works out. There will also be live action "sprinkles" on top, with a bit more care than the ones from last season.

Audio will be sounding a lot better because I've figured out how to normalize and properly clean up in Audacity.

I worked on the actual animation for about an hour and a half tonight and only got this much out of it http://wtf-chuck.com/CryForHel p/output.swf . The piece of shit software kept crashing, I will hopefully learn to save early and often once the grind officially begins.
