I am currently involved in the music biz as a songwriter, recording artist (with our band GONE WILD), Manager, webguy and chief coffee and bourbon fetcher (someone has to do the good jobs right?).

GONE WILD have just released the double album follow-up to our debut album - GONE WILD which was released in January 2007, it's always a pleasure working with the other guys in the band as we make music we like first and foremost.

Escape - a track from our debut album was released via Versailles Records in the US on their Skater Rock Vol 1-3 collection, which for us was a thrill to be saddled alongside some well respected known musos (some of them heroes to us even) as well as some of the worlds great unknown bands (for now at least...)

Our track - Rock This World- is going to feature on the upcoming Versailles Records release - Anthem Rock - which will be out in May 2009

Rob Smith (Vocals, Guitars, Keys, Programming) is also a well respected solo artist having been in the music business for a number of years (if I say how many it might only make him feel old). Rob has released 2 solo albums so far - 2005's - Be Careful What You Wish For - and 2006's - Actions Speak Louder Than Words - follow-up's (Never A Dull Moment & No Smoking) are currently being recorded.

Bassist Matt Sturgess is also currently working on a solo album which will feature guest performances by his friends here in New Zealand.

In addition to our work with GONE WILD, Rob and I are also actively involved with writing and recording with overseas talent which has given us both challenges but also a great sense of fulfilment along the way. We're always on the look-out for other people to work with, so if you think you have what it takes then by all means feel free to touch base, However we can't work with everyone that puts their hand up unfortunately (time being our biggest factor).

I am currently branching out and writing for an exciting new upcoming country singer named Searcy Smith, she has all the qualities a young singer should possess, i feel it is important to give back some of the lessons learnt and help out someone young to achieve their goals - i truely believe this girl could go far with the right songs, exposure and all the cards falling into place - we'll do our best (she has a great producer/manager behind her - Steve Hacker, who i am looking forward to working with also) to make sure Searcy achieves all she wants to do in the music industry.

We will be putting some more footage of our own on this site soon enough, but in the meantime feel free to check out what is there as well as these great clips that I have listed as favourites.

In addition my niece Kayla is now taking singing lessons and doing a bit of performing (she's coming along great) so from time to time I'll add bits and pieces of her performing (and also some friends) on this page as well (we'll be working on some original material soon too). So please give her some positive feedback as I know she'd appreciate it (and who doesn't want to encourage young ones right???), Kayla is also working on solo material now as well as working with her new school band.

I appreciate all the many kindnesses shown my way over the years and seek to encourage others in the music biz to achieve their dreams with a can do (but certainly not arrogant) attitude. Believe in yourself and anything is possible, dreams CAN be reality.
