"Rock Fujiyama" (2006-7) was a Japanese music program hosted by American guitarist Marty Friedman (Megadeth). Marty Friedman left the US in the 90's, for a very successful career in Japan. He is fluent in Japanese and lives in Tokyo.
The show also features Rolly, Japanese super-performer. Rolly was the vocalist/guitarist for Japanese rock band "Scanch" ("すかんち"), and he is widely known in Japan for his awesome guitar work and comedic style.
Scanch disbanded in 1995. Rolly continued to perform solo, and broadened his career to include television, musicals (the Japanese production of "TOMMY" by The Who, and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"), movies, as well as classical and Jazz. Rolly's new band, "The Manji", has just released their 2nd CD "Puzzle".
