Late Munshi Raziuddin with Fareed Ayaz, Nasiruddeen Saami, Ali Akbar Khan (Tabla), Ghlulam Akram, Abu Mohammad, Sri Indar Lal Dhandra (sarangi).

Munshiji first presents a few verses from the Sanskrit epic Geet Govind in Raag Khat followed by Amir Khusro's Qaul Qalbana hamd in Arabic/Persian.

There's an interesting legend about the geet and the Qaul which centers around a music competition that took place in the court of Sultan Alauddin Khilji. The South Indian raag maestro Gopal Nayak arrived in the court and challenged Amir Khusro with a set of questions which he presented in the form of the geet. Amir Khusro responded with the Qual Qalbana, but not himself, instead through 12 students. This was the genesis of Qawwali and the founding of the Qawwal Bachey gharana.
