Pacing the UP MTTPB (Manifest Toronto, ON-Pine Bluff, AR) between Bonnie and Ina on Illinois 37on the UP's Mt. Vernon Sub.
The train had just started moving again after sitting for an hour at Bonnie after going into emergency as a result of a dragging brake hose. It would go into the siding at Ina for two northbounds.
The MTTPB and its NB counterpart, the MNLTT (Manifest- North Little Rock, AR-Toronto ON) come off and get on the CN at Kinmundy, IL, north of Salem. The MTTPB and MNLTT are known as CN trains M399 and M398, respectively.
