Hi Bob just wanted to say that you caused a major change in my life, I started to know more what i want of my sound, and my drums actually start to sound right! and still a long road ahead.
Also, i have a very good ludwig snare drum which recently started to sound choked , from your videos i learned that the problem is old snare wires which forced me to tighten up and dampen the back head, i just changed the wires and whoa! i got my drum back!! Thanks. Nir from Israel.
