Patrick Smith has written, produced, animated and directed five award winning films from 2000-2006. His bizarre, morphing style and symbolic stories of identity have extended beyond film. His Public Art Installations, paintings, and mulit-media projects, have earned the artist a multitude of accolades outside the world of animation. Smith is also a Professor and Senior Thesis advisor at the Pratt Institute in New York, a fellow with the New York Foundation of the Arts, and a curator for several international film and animation festivals. His studio is located in Tribeca, New York City.

Wow, my teacher showed my class in college some of Patrick Smith's stuff for "Animation education"
all I have to say is, WOW WOW WOW, we were dieing in are seats. we watched the "Puppet" one first, I cried because I laughed so hard. I think my gut morphed into a knot I couldn't breathe, honestly the best stuff I've ever seen, it was inspiring. animation is apain in the butt but so awesome
