There coud be trade wars, a reluctance towards tourism in Ireland and when Ireland is independent (which it deserves) strict entry to Britain by Irish people. Have you thought this through? The IRA caused a lot of pain in Britain with their bombs and what about all the psychological damage on people, breakdowns, drug and alcohol addiction etc, none of this is being considered.
