Just a quick disclaimer: I do not own or edit any of the content presented on the aforementioned website(s). It is an international affiliate of a student activist/news portal based in Croatia (with contributors from many other countries) which tackles a variety of socioeconomic, political and cultural issues (local as well as worldwide), but focuses primarily on the terrible social cost which the implementation of neoliberal 'structural adjustment' policies inflicted upon the public system of higher education. Its main strategic aim (this is, of course, my personal interpretation) is to find effective new ways (and reinvent some old ones) of fighting back and empowering the masses through the process of a democratic class struggle.
