Haven't played much IIDX recently, actually. Or DDR. Used to play DDR a lot when I was younger, at arcades every weekend. The obsession started back when PS magazine had a demo for an old release in like... 1999 or 2000 or something. Been hooked on rhythm games since, besides US stuff because I dislike the music, usually. I used to be a beast at StepMania, but as you can see from my videos, I kind of lost my touch after not playing in ages. =S

Anyway, I'm pretty much the opposite of you in that I absolutely love 3S and don't like SFIV all that much. I'm sticking to Abel/Rose at the moment, until I find a valid reason to change besides tiers, because I already beat a few Sagat players with Rose before (love that air-grab, lol!). I just find that the skill gap when playing 3S is so much more apparent, and I learn more from my losses. Even I can beat a decent player at SFIV once in a while, which is poor!

I scouted around on eBay International until I found a cheap KOC from the US, packaged with beatmania US (which I didn't want, but it's a laugh!). Cost me around £28 including P&P, which is pretty damn good, although with the rates as they are now, chances of striking a deal that good is slim. Don't be tricked into buying a pad from Play-Asia or somewhere like that though; they charge around £60-70 or something ridiculous. =P

You should get some Pop'N videos up, man! I missed out on a DC KOC last year for £6 because I thought I'd do the honourable thing and let someone else take the bargain, since I was already ordering IIDX and it might have gone to waste (yeah right!), and now I feel like a complete idiot, since they're so rare, and I knew that!
