WHO's BAD is, and has been for some time, the ultimate Michael Jackson tribute band. They played a sold-out show (just one of MANY), October 26, 2007 at Raleigh NC's Lincoln Theatre. http://www.whosba... and http://www.myspac... . It seems fitting to go back through old videos I'd never posted put them up, here, the day after the king of pop has died.
Hugh Swaso stepped up in a last-minute substitution in the Michael Jackson role. There was no compromise in quality performance, and the fans, men and women alike, let the entire performance team know it. His footwork was executed with a precision that belied his 3-4 day preparation. Hugh Swaso himself, along with the entire Who's Bad troupe, is a quintessential performer. After the first couple of minutes (if at all), no one minded that Swaso didn't shave the part (it was a two-show fill in, ending their West coast tour and returning home; shaving wasn't essential for Hugh Swaso to "become" Michael Jackson.)
I kept the camera trained on Swaso's feet for several of the videos, knowing he was up to the challenge of replicating Jackson's skilled and smooth choreography. The venue's lighting engineer, however, may have chosen to give Swaso "a safety net", using random colored lights on his footwork much of the time, or not illuminating his feet at all, rather than training an unbroken spotlight on the signature Jackson steps.
The Who's Bad group (I think I've got them all - ???) on this tour was Hugh Swaso as Michael Jackson, Kevin Timmons, Vamsi Tadepalli (founder), Stephen Coffman, Ray McCall. Darion Alexander, Nicholas Baglio, & Patrick Cross.

first of all, a huge thank you for the Olafur Arnalds concert you uploaded, it's like a balm for my soul.
Secondly, I know it sounds daft but if you still have the video on your PC, is there a possibility that you could maybe uploaded the whole as a torrent somewhere, doesn't really matter where to be honest...
