This Judy Collins YouTube channel is run by Phil Saviano in Boston. In the 1980s, he produced Judy's annual concerts at Boston's Symphony Hall and other New England venues. These days he oversees an extensive, personal archive of historic video clips originally recorded in Beta-HiFi. He has converted many of them to digital format, using the Canopus ADVC-300 digital converter. His goal is to preserve these performances for future generations, AND to share them with Judy's fans around the world, via YouTube. Some of these clips have come from the personal archives of Judy Collins, too. This channel is a work in progress, and more videos will be added as time goes on.
Phil says, "I AM LOOKING FOR MORE VIDEO CLIPS FROM THE 60s and 70s. If you have video tapes that may have Judy interviews or performances on them, please send them to me. I will convert them and send you back the original. Contact me here via email message."
