Yeah recording and sequencing is a great course and it is a shame that not enough people are doing it, sound engineering concentrates more on the electronic principles behind recording music and more of the technology involved.
Both courses have a lot to offer so enjoy your time because if you get a good group of people together you can get some really good projects up and running.

I was in studio 1 using the big jade desk doing some recording and Bill also showed you the booth which had a guy with my guitar in there.
Ah so your going to do sound engineering? thats cool, i've just about finished my first year of music tech (recording and sequencing) so you'll be seeing me at the new site over in gillingham.
You'll enjoy the course you've chosen, it can be a bit overwhelming to the new comer but push past that and its some very rewarding work.

I got the dvd in a little music shop in dublin, they normally get some of the more rare stuff in that you wouldnt get in the more mainstream shops. The only thing is i went back in rcently to get a copy for my uncle but they didn't have any left. Borderline records is the name of the shop.

Definatly one of the wierd coincidenses to bump into a local through a place like youtube.
Just thinking about it boggles the mind, through all the youtube users across the globe you found a piece by me and that we live within two miles of eachother.
Anyway just to let you know im uploading my two versions of In the Hall of the Mountain King tomoro, i've finished both the orchestral and DnB versions so it ought to raise a few eyebrows.
