thanks so much for all the nationals, without doubt my fav sporting event of the year and also falls on or around my birthday .was up til 3am this morning reliving them.2001 my personal fav  remember thinking b4 bechers 2nd time crikey what if none complete!but luckily red marauder had stamina & bravery in abundance,a real national hero.superb.

Thanks very much for posting the Brigadier Gerard v Mill Reef 2000 Guineas video. I hadn't seen this race in years, although I remember, like it was yesterday, sitting down in front of the TV as a little boy, watching this race live - and almost crying because Mill reef lost!
