i need help with my upright bass watch my vids tell me what im doing wrong and i see on your bass theres no strech you dont strech at all but on my upright the strech is so long it tune my upright from my electric bass is that stupid.

hey..hi..i have just finished watching all your bass lessons...i find some of them very useful...i have been learning for about close to 2 years i think..and my grip on the string isnt that good for both arco and pizz....and i am only grade two..my teacher haven teach me the sliding down the string and the chromatics too...and i actually started with french bow..in the end my teacher changed it to german n my grip isnt that good...could you possibly post more videos of bass...and there is one thing i want to ask you..how to hold the german bow while playing pizz....

I play bass from 1988, till now i didnt learned so serous.

it just got an upright bass and i cant get it in tune if you could post a video about tuneing where you hit the strings open i think it will help a lot of bass players

i was wondering how you get that great upright bass tone :)

i have a german made double bass and i use a fishman pickup and i just use a zoom preamp ..conected into a 15" ampeg combo with a tweeter/horn ...but yeah .. it just doesnt sound like it does when its unplugged ... you got any suggestions ?
