BARRY MOSLEY , valve trombonist, influenced by the Cool Jazz of Chet Baker who Barry got to preform with several times in the mid 1980's by Chets invitation. He is also strongly influenced by the early work of Miles Davis and the great valve trombonist Bob Brookmeyer.
THE COOL JAZZ TRIO , a tasteful drumless trio, has been active in the Los Angeles area, playing at the major Jazz Clubs and also performing for private events.
Barry has two CD's for sale with radio play on Jazz stations in the USA and Europe.
"JAZZ TIME", is a straight ahead CD with Jazz standards in a drumless trio. Featuring Stephan Oberhoff on piano and Cliff Hugo on bass.
"SPEAK SOFTLY" is a very mellow CD with valve trombone and synths with five jazz standards and four origional compositions.
