Mostly traditional Irish, Scottish, and maritime Canadian music, performed on a variety of acoustic instruments.
About Me:

Jesse Ferguson is a poet and musician, specializing in celtic music. He grew up in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. He plays a Washburn acoustic guitar, a Hondo Mandolin and a generic bodhran. He also plays pennywhistle, fife, bagpipe chanter, fiddle and various percussion instruments. For those who are interested, he's of Scottish and French descent. Also, when he plays Irish or Scottish "rebel songs," he doesn't take any side in the longstanding political quarrels in Ireland and the UK. For him, the music is the important thing.

* My CD, New Old Songs, is now available for purchase: http://cdbaby.com/cd/fergus... I recorded and mastered this solo CD (I play all instruments on it), and I also designed it. It is also available at: Product sales page: http://Kunaki.com/Sales.asp...

Jesse, with the retirement of the Corries, I thought that was the end of the revival of our beautiful Scottish folk music. You are the one laddie. Sing on... you are absolutely wonderful!

HEY!!! LOVE YOUR WORK!! Would you be able to sing a song for me? For some reason I've had the Irish Lullaby (Toora Loora Loora) stuck in my head for a while and I was wondering if you could sing it?

After learning how to play the Bodhran from your tutorials, i had to apply what i learned in the song "We saw three ships" with a local, all female choir group in their two Holiday concerts. I was wondering if you knew this song or could learn it, because I'd love to see your version, singing and playing the Bodhran. I'd imagine that it would sound AMAZING!!! Just a suggestion. Thanks!!!
