I think the new camo is for urban wars and not Iraq but herein the USA, and the reason they changed it was so vets could not look like troops who are taking guns.

Is the U.S. Government helping our enemies? Ever since the U.S. Army introduced their new ACU(Army Combat Uniform), there has been a far greater amount of American casualties. Is the ACU making soldiers more visible on the battlefield? Also, since the change to the 5.56 ammunition, American soldiers have been injuring/killing less enemies; This explains the rise in casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan.
