Linda Kohler, Executive Director of Students Sharing Coalition, makes opening remarks at the 2nd Annual Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Conference. This year's conference, "Stewards of Place: Connecting Campus and Community" was held on April 4th at the University of Baltimore. Over 140 students, faculty, and staff from all over Maryland came to the conference to engage in workshops, networking, and sharing, all dealing with service-learning in Baltimore's Higher Education Institutions.
