Beverly Sills on The Muppet Show Part 3 "Pigoletto" bakerpaters - 91,510 views - 2 years ago
The marvelous (and good-natured!)Beverly Sills and the pigs from the Muppet Show present the opera, "Pigoletto," straight from the Muppetopolitan Opera. The muppets enthusiastically slaughter arias from operas such as Carmen and Die Walkure, while Miss Sills sings "Sempre Libera" from La Traviata. Included is a high-note battle of the divas: Miss Piggy vs Miss Sills. One has to admire Frank Oz (as Miss Piggy) trying to out-sing Beverly Sills! (RIP, Beverly - we miss you!)

Muppet Upside-down Opera bakerpaters - 6,338 views - 2 years ago
Jim Henson and Jerry Nelson ("The Fuzz Brothers") doing a hilarious (and very weird!) upside-down opera bit, "Muppera." From Season 4, Episode 409 (Beverly Sills as guest star). I believe this segment only aired in the UK, and was left out of the US version. Some sources say this was filmed with the players on their backs, but it is obvious that the camera, not the people, was turned. You can see the beads on the costumes dangling toward the performers' chins, which means the chins were pointing at the ground, not the ceiling.

For Super Bowl XLII, N.Y. Giants VS. N.E. Patriots, Pepsi is running a commercial using all deaf actors entitled Bob's House. Here are four videos to go along with this campaign of reaching out to the deaf community. Three of these video clips show a Giants fan, played by Justin Callaway, and a Patriots fan, played by Deaf culture comedian Keith Wann, talking smack to each other in sign language about what team is going to win and how good teams from their respected cities are. A fourth clip shows Keith Wann telling the story of how the huddle became part of football history.

I am going to be the first one. That I remember that act on the muppet show. And I am big into cartoons like that. And my favorite cartachter. Is I don't know can't choose. Keep it up. And said Miss Sills past away. But she was a great opera singer and tap dancer on the muppset show.
