About Me:
I love lots of filme..modern ones including 'Twilight', the harry potter series and so many others..cant be bothered to write them all down.:)
I will have to mention a few who classic stars who really do mean a lot to me.
Firstly....Audrey Hepburn...I find that whenever I am sad all I have to do is either watch one of her movies, read a book about her or even just look at a photo of her and ..well it helps...she was the kindest creature ever to grace the earth...her great style and example set to us showing us how to be truly good and kind but also in some of her films she can make you laugh out loud one minute and then cry the next...We remember her as Princess Ann, Sabrina Fairchild, Sister Luke, Holly Golightly, Eliza Dolittle and so many others!...there is so much to say of her but I dont have room!
Secondly: Grace Kelly...when I watch her films I always feel so contented and happy, she really was graceful in so many ways and the fact that she became a real-life Princess makes her even more almost...unreal but she was so real. The way she only married once and loved her husband all the way through is quite unusual for many of the actresses of that time...we only wish she could have remained an actress that bit longer...giving up when she was only 26...but we will always remember her fondly as Lisa Anna Fremont, Frances Stevens, Tracy/Samantha Lord and others...
Thirdly: Marilyn Monroe...her films can make me laugh so much because of her wit...although she was desperate to be taken seriously as an actress not just as the stereotypical dumb blonde when she was really one of the smartest of them all! yet so vulnerable and so sweet....as MonroeSmile put it 'The Brightest Star of them All' and I agree...
We remember her as the girl in The Seven Year Itch, Sugar in Some Like it Hot (my ALL-TIME FAVOURITE!!) and so many others.
These Three would have to be my favourites...but I have so many other actresses and actors that I love

There are roses named after: Audrey Hepburn, Claudia Cardinale, Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman, Ginger Rogers, Sophia Loren and Marilyn Monroe. I didn't see a rose named after Ava Gardner or Rita Hayworth. Audrey's rose is apple blossom pink (light to deep, it won several awards), Sophia's is red (what else), Claudia's is orange/yellow (and with very large petals).
