I'm German and want to let you know that the user below me is a liar. We do use very long words that sound unpleasant and annoy every person learning my language.
Here are some examples: Flughafenbehörde, Einzugsermächtigung, Rasiermesserklinge, Nationalfeiertag, Problembewältigungsstrategie
flower=pflanze, yesterday=gestern, crown=krone, i=ich, he=er, she=sie, year=jahr
see german words aren´t longer than english words
