mate i dont get y u wanna premote Aussie rules to the world so much! its one of the few uniquely Australia things we have left in our Australian culture but if it becomes truely international (i dont think it will) that will rob us of another great Aussie icon along with vegimite, annott biscuits and the victor mower.
stuff the rest the world!
just think if the game takes of and competitions start poppin up in england, ireland or USA the same things will start to happen to AFL as the NRL where rich biliion ayres from other countries will start poaching our players and making our competition weaker, also the americans would probably start fucking around with the game, changing the rules and lingo and make it their own (not in the best interest of the game)
do u really want that?
crinnigan07 (1 year ago)
