Unfortunately, there is only so much a drummer can do on their instrument, to show off their musical skills, which is why I chose to do the solos by Carl Palmer, percussionist/drummer extraordinaire, with my favorite band, Emerson, Lake and Palmer( ELP for short). The Karn Evil 9 1st Impression pt. 2 drum solo is about as melodic as a drum solo gets, instead of just bashing around on the drums, making noise. The same can be said for the Toccata timpani/gong/chimes solo, which speaks for itself.

My goal, as a musician, is to perform with like-minded musicians, who want to take the ultimate challenge, and play more sophisticated music. However, I am open to playing just about anything in existence. I hope to be able to post more videos, hopefully, playing along with some ELP and other music, for those interested. Thanks. Steve
