About Atlanta History Center

One of the Southeast's largest history museums, the Atlanta History Center's 33 acre campus houses one of the nation's premier assemblages of Civil War artifacts, award-winning exhibitions presenting the history of Atlanta and the region, the Centennial Olympic Games Museum, two historic houses, the Kenan Research Center, and a series of historic gardens unique in both design and horticultural presentation.

The History Center provides year-round programming, including adult and family educational programs, school tours, staff development workshops for teachers, lecture series with award-winning authors, adult enrichment seminars, music series, and summer camps.
