Team Transplant's 182 members rode in the 2009 Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Festival on June 7, 2009 to raise awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation. Thirteen transplant recipients and six living donors rode to prove that it's possible to lead a healthy, active lifestyle after transplant. The team collectively cycled more than 9,300 miles and raised over $35,000 for the American Transplant Foundation.
