Socialism is bogus, leftism is bereft of realistic principles and relies on sentimentalist idealistic principles.

The musical segment in the 4th part of Chomsky BBC interview is baffling indeed. For me, it is kind of a bummer. I think the world of Chomsky and here he turns out to be a critic of (post-)Schönbergianism ? He also refers to Paul Hindemith, who said that tonality is as a rockbottom classic a language as is gravitation to physics. This is all the more 'peculiar' (to say the least), because this is most probably an UNTRUE theory ! (I realise that Chomsky put this hypothetically, and that it should be put to empirical testing)
Hey, but thanks for uploading, great conversation. |

I may disagree with alot of things, but what I'm a fan of is exchange of ideas; the cornerstone of freedom. Well done on your uploads, keep it up.
