Been a while since I last uploaded a video, sorry about that, had SAT's :)

I am making a few variations of this energy beam, all using the same preset I created. This is number 3.

Soon I will release the preset - which can create any type of energy beam you can think of. But until then I'm creating as many variations with it as possible so I can get feedback on them :)

This is a first for me - Retouching an image, in other words, making it look better. You can see the before and after images here:

The video is in steps, 12 steps in total, heres a list of what happens on each step:

1. Background removed
2. Right eyebrow thinned
3. Left eyebrow raised
4. Nose thinned
5. Skin smoothed
6. Image brightened
7. Spots removed
8. Eye whites brightened & Iris saturated
9. Question mark added
10. Opacity of question mark reduced
11. Question mark distorted
12. Question mark blurred

This is a quickie animation I made with Dimp, a program being developed by Sijmen, check it out:

I made the original animation in Dimp, then used After Effects to adjust the time so the stickman steps in time. Then just used a bit of colour correction to pimp it up.

This is a nice flame I made, I had some free time on my hands and just mucked about with Particle World, Vector Blur and Turbulence Displace. It's not as detailed and fluid as flames created with FumeFx, but I still like it, especially for something created in After Effects. Let me know what you think :)

This effect has been overlooked quite alot on YouTube, alot of heat vision, super speed, flying, but I haven't seen any nice recreations of Smallvilles x-ray vision effect. So, I thought I'd give it quick try, let me know what you think! :D

I havent been able to do much 3D stuff lately because my laptop died, but my new one arrived yesterday, so im back on track! Ive got a couple of new animations planned for this year, and grubs and other games etc. Should be good!
