Russian-Canadian classical concert pianist Sergei Pavlov is the founder of Debut Piano Studio, school of music based in Toronto, Canada.

He is the winner of the 1995 Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev international piano competition.

Sergei Pavlov graduated one of the finest and most famous schools of music in the world - the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

He has extensive experience as a touring concert pianist (Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, France, Romania, Bulgaria, United States and Canada). In Canada: he performed at the CBC's Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto, among other venues.

As a piano pedagogue he has been exposed to advanced teaching methods on both continents, which he uses with his pupils.

He was also the subject of a short documentary by Jeannie Lee upon his arival to Canada - aired on CBC.
