We are comprised of an international community of women, who have been diagnosed with Asherman's Syndrome, and doctors who specialize in treating this medical condition. We hope that through this YouTube channel, we can help create a greater awareness of the physical and emotional aspects of Ashermans Syndrome (through the women's personal stories) and the worldwide development of its treatment (through the doctor's segments).

Asherman's Syndrome, also known as Intrauterine Adhesions, is scarring inside the uterus. Women usually present with: lighter periods, subfertility and recurrent miscarriages, or in more severe cases: amenorrhea, cyclical pain and infertility. It is usually acquired through a D and C (dilation and curettage) on a recently pregnant uterus (miscarriage or retained placenta), although it can follow any uterine surgery. Treatment is through the use of hysteroscopy. For more extensive information, please visit our website at www.ashermans.org

Thanks again for continuing your goal of educating as many people as possible about Asherman's. It has been six years since my surgery & watching this video brought back so many emotions of my own personal story. I appreciate all the efforts of everyone involved in this cause.

Poly,

Thank you for your dedication. Finding this sight helped me find a skilled surgeon which ultimately led to the birth of my son. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed and you have most likely helped more women than you will ever know. Thank you.

This is beautiful. Once again, thanks for all you've done for all of us AS women. I can't imagine how I would have gotten through this without you and the AS board. You're an inspiration to us all!
