Thanks for the link, I´ll check it out.
By the way, hope you had a nice christmas. Happy holidays ^^
See ya
Thanks you!
I wish the big successes in creativity and in all!
I'm starting with chinese calligraphy and i find this site very helpful.
Every time, I write a stroke, the brush bends, and won't come back. Can you tell me...
Suggestions:
If the brush hair is bent and won't come back, try the following "combinations"
* Make a "balance" of pressing and lifting (do not press too hard all of a sudden) - usually we tend to press too hard in the beginning. Pay attention to the shape of the palm and the forces of fingers.
* Grind the ink really well so it helps. The ink stick has some percentage of glue. Too much water will not help the brush hair to restore to a fine shape after it has been press "too" hard.
* Try to hold the brush's bamboo handle as vertically as possible.
Oh I see, thanks for the explanation. It seems both interesting
How long have you practiced chinese calligraphy??
One question, besides the kanji, are japanese and chinese callighraphy too diferent??
Have a great day
See ya
