He has released 5 melodic rock solo albums, has participated in various metal/rock projects and has been a guest vocalist for many bands, over the years. In 2010, he formed the rock band "Unisonic" together with Dennis Ward (bass), Mandy Meyer (guitars), Kosta Zafiriou (drums) and Kai Hansen (guitars).
He is a low tenor with a nearly four octave range and is regarded by many as one of the greatest metal/rock vocalists ever.
