Meet our latest pet/mascot, Bibi, a 2-yr-old (almost 3!) Congo African Grey parrot. She began talking and imitating sounds around the home office as soon as she came to live with us.
Here are some of her favorite phrases:
*HELLO, MY NAME IS BIBI
Bibi means Lady in Swahili
*JAMBO -Hello in Swahili
*KONICHIWA -Japanese
*NI HAO -Chinese
*GUTEN TAG -German
*BONJOUR -French
*CIAO -Italian
*ALOHA -Hawaiian
*QUE PASA -Spanish
*DANCIN' (bobs head)
*SINGIN'
*BIG KISS -with sound
*WALK THE DOGGIES
*APPLES -she loves green apples
She also does a PURRfect mimic of our cat, Stella. And several times each day she [tries to] whistle The Andy Griffith Show theme song.

I have been watching Bibi for a long time now. I love Bibi. But I also know that it takes a dedicated and loving family to teach a parrot all of those wonderful things. You have done a great job!!
