Influences such as David Bowie, John Lennon, Jim Morrison and U2 have had a large impact on Hand's music and songwriting. As with his influences, Hand focuses on emotion and lyrical content to reach his audience. His aim is to make a difference in the world through reaching and connecting to those seeking to create a better life for themselves and those around them.
