I liked the presentation of the film club film as one episode of a long-running British sci-fi show. Plunking the viewer into the middle of a show he knows nothing about with only "The Fan" and "The Converted Fan" as our guides was very effective.

The weird thing was that for a British TV show, nobody had British accents.
