Archival footage recorded by the government on the day of the massacre, October 2 1968. Released more than twenty years after the Massacre at Tlatelolco, this footage shows that the shooting was a provocation.
Armed gunmen shot from the apartment buildings down at the troops. The gunmen were government officials (from the army) dressed as civilians ordered to shoot down at the troops so that the soldiers would shoot back at the students.

One month after his annual presidential speech (1968 Informe), the army opened fire on thousands of unarmed students in the heart of Mexico City.
