one more question (and this goes with the disability thing b/c i wasn't too specific) Why doesn't Amnesty campaign for Autism rights? that doesn't seem to make any sense. i have read articles where ppl on the ASD spectrum have been mistreated and seen pictures of one Autistic child in Bahrain who was kept behind bars. and kids on the spectrum in other countries (same area, possibly) as old as five living in filthy conditions and nothing was being done about it. Here in the states, I read up on ppl being mistreated by way of being locked up without supervision, bad mouthed, kicked out of some place b/c of lack of accomodations or called names. but over there, it's different. they actually have schools that treat the students like asylum residents. and that doesn't add up.

There's a million issues we could focus on, but the bottom line in all our work is that everyone's human rights deserve to be protected.
